Growth success and leadership itself has become a booming business in the 21st century and an enormous amount of research has been conducted into discovering its secrets. Businessmen and educators like Anthony Robins, Bob Proctor and Bryan Tracy to name a few will all promote what they believe to be the ‘secret key to leadership’, however it usually comes with a price and quite a high financial price at that. Now every seminar, every course and every newly acquired piece of information will always be a constructive use of your time however when those 1 or 2 pieces of information come with a $10-15,000 price tag you must stop to consider whether it is worth it and whether the information you are looking to acquire can be absorbed from a far cheaper resource. Admittedly any from of information that you are looking to acquire will always come with a price tag I mean we do live in a capitalist society after all, however after spending thousands of dollars and years of my time hearing the same messages from all of these businessmen I have found it a far more constructive and lasting benefit to develop the discipline of researching and discovering my own answers as it will be throughout this search that your journey into leadership refinement and your lessons of personal responsibility will begin. |

Most would agree that our primary job here on earth is to mature and grow as we walk our unique path through the life that we have chosen for ourselves. If so how then do we define what it is that we are attempting to achieve? How do we define maturity itself? For centuries men and women have held themselves up to this undefinable personality trait in an attempt to vaguely signify their arrival into adulthood. But what specifically is maturity and what does it do? Why is it that even today we continually use this unspecified term that we’ve label ‘maturity’ simply to distinguish differences in physical age? Especially when the reality is and the past has consistently proven, that it’s nothing more than an individual interpretation on the varying personality traits that each of us believe a mature man or woman should possess? However a much more important question should be, if we are each looking to evolve along the path of our individual journey and mature into the healthy positive influence on society that we are each capable of achieving, then where do we start in relation to our growth into maturity? What inner standards of excellence do we set for ourselves? What information are we attempting to assimilate? What goals are we aiming for? And how do we know that we have arrived successfully? |

There are 3 evolutionary areas of the human brain that have evolved to protect you. They have a significant impact on your perception of your life, on what you actually see, on what you feel, on your reactions and therefore how you deal with the situations that arise in your life on a day to day basis. They have the ability to physically exhaust you, especially in your attempts to introduce new information and establish new automatic behaviours. So once again knowledge is the potential power here, it is important to understand what these areas are, how they work and what they are doing for you. In your attempts to create new conditioning they will work for you and they will work against you, you must become aware of when to override these areas to establish the long term positive conditioning that you are looking for. |

The information presented in this section is scientifically based, often by people who have spent their entire lives accumulating just one piece of the puzzle. The beauty of this is, you don’t need an entire lifetime to acquire and integrate this information. All you need is a little focus and attention to truly absorb and integrate this knowledge. However what that realistically means, is that simply reading this, or any article for that matter, is just not enough, you will need to read, re-read and reflect on the information presented, because the simple fact is: Knowledge is NOT power. |
